John Antoski announces candidacy for
Town of Ballston Supervisor
It is with great respect to our community that I announce my candidacy for the position of Supervisor of the Town of Ballston.
For the past few months I have been made aware by many citizens of incidents within the town that lack transparency and accountability within our current town government. As residents, we deserve a government that is open, honest, and actively engaged with the people it serves. However, it has become clear that important decisions are being made from what appears to be behind closed doors, without input from or communication with the residents who will be most affected by those decisions.
Transparency is the cornerstone of a strong and effective government. The current lack of open dialogue between the Town Board and our residents is not only troubling but also undermines the trust that is essential for a healthy community. We need leadership that prioritizes clear, honest communication and ensures that every voice is heard and considered in our town's decision-making processes.
As Supervisor, I would help create a true Town Board, ensuring that every resident has an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns, and receive answers. I will advocate for a commitment to keeping the community informed at every stage of important decisions. And most of all, align the actions of our Town Board to use our Comprehensive Plan and Zoning laws.
It is time for a change. Together, we can build a more transparent, accountable, and inclusive future for our town of Ballston. I humbly ask for your support in this effort.
